Global Brand Art Direction since 2009

As an international player in the high-end carpet world, Golran, a family company based in Milan, has specialized in selling Persian rugs since it was founded in 1898. In 3 years, Francesca Avossa Studio has helped Golran establish itself and grow as a brand-manufacturer of must-have contemporary carpets and also open a flagship store in Milan’s Brera neighborhood.

Francesca Avossa Studio oversaw the new brand’s Brand Art Direction from 2009 to 2019.

The Studio oversaw the collections’ Creative Direction and defined the editorial line by choosing well-known creative people in the international design and home decoration world (Dimore Studio, Piero Lissoni, …).

The Studio created all the visual content – Creative Direction of the catalogue, scenography of stands, showrooms and windows, Creative Direction of photographic and institutional reporting as well as coordination with the Agency that handled international communication.

Its strategic role in developing the global OR overall image and collections helped create a strong brand image in synch with the high-end positioning the company aspired to while also imposing an assertive, coherent stylistic identity that inscribed Golran in its era and perpetuated its family story.
